365Karate is an online, on-demand martial arts program that lets kids, teens and parents learn karate together at home and work toward a black belt on their own schedule. Families in Surrey, Metro Vancouver and anywhere in BC can join online — 365Karate is not a local studio and has no in-person location in BC.
365Karate was created by Master Chad and Master Alicia, martial arts instructors and parents of six, who first built the program for their own children. One 365Karate membership costs US$9.99 a month and covers the account holder plus up to six more family members, so up to seven people train for one price, each with their own saved progress.
What Kids Learn at 365Karate
The 365Karate curriculum blends four martial arts into one integrated path:
- Tang Soo Do — kicks, blocks, stances and forms
- Kenpo — fast hand combinations and self-defence
- Hapkido — escapes, joint locks and control techniques
- Krav Maga — practical, real-world self-defence
Lessons combine guided video classes with personal training cycles. Students can pause and replay any lesson, and progress saves automatically. Completing a full training cycle earns the student’s avatar its next 365Karate program belt. The program leaves out rolls, falls and weapons training, which keeps home practice simpler.
How Online Karate Works at Home
- Classes are on-demand, not live — train any day, at any time
- Each family member keeps separate progress under one account login
- Younger children practise with an adult present
- Clear a safe practice space before each session
- Every student accepts 365Karate’s participation agreement before training
- Homeschool families use it as flexible at-home physical activity

Online Karate or a Local Dojo?
365Karate suits families who want low-cost, flexible martial arts at home — households with several kids, homeschoolers, and students who want extra practice between in-person classes. Kids who need hands-on correction, sparring partners or tournament competition are better served by an in-person school; browse martial arts and sports programs in Surrey and the Lower Mainland in the KidsServiceHub Sports Activities directory.
