The Children’s Health Centre at Surrey Memorial Hospital is the only dedicated pediatric facility in the Fraser Health region. Located within BC’s second-largest hospital, it provides specialized care to thousands of children each year in a family-friendly environment.
Services include a 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department, inpatient Pediatric Unit, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric Diabetes Clinic, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and developmental and mental health support through the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit.
The Pediatric Emergency Department treats nearly 50,000 children per year and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The inpatient Pediatric Unit is open 24/7 for admitted patients, with outpatient services available Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays).
Patients must be under 17 years of age to access pediatric services.
